As Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Kerala for the massive youth conclave ‘Yuvam’ in Kochi that witnessed a massive crowd, a number of emerging youth figures were present in the programme. During the occasion, popular Malayalam film Director Vishnu Mohan invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his marriage. Vishnu’s bride is Abhirami, daughter of BJP leader A N Radhakrishnan. Vishnu invited Modi for the marriage with Abhirami and his parents and sought the blessings of the Prime Minister.
In a Facebook post, Vishnu shared his excitement and gratitude for the blessings he received from Modi. He mentioned that he was in a state where he could not say whether what happened was a dream or reality. Vishnu is the director of the movie Meppadiyan.
Vishnu wrote, “Whether it was a dream or reality is still unclear. Today we had the great fortune to give the first invitation letter of the wedding to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji and receive blessings with betel leaves, areca nut, and kasavu mundu. A wise man in his Kerala costume blessed him with his hand on his head like a god. Abhirami and I, who are going to get married, think that we cannot get a bigger blessing than this. The energy given by his words will last this lifetime. Abhirami’s father and mother were with us to witness this happy moment.”
Although the Prime Minister did not confirm his attendance at the wedding, Vishnu expressed his gratitude for the blessings he received from Modi. The invitation has undoubtedly made the marriage more special for the couple.
