Delhi Government has announced an ex-gratia of ten lakh rupees each to the families of those killed in the violence-hit North-Eastern part of the city. Briefing media, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, five lakh rupees each will be given to those who are seriously injured.
He said, Delhi Government will set up special camps for people to get documents burnt during violence. He informed that under Delhi Government’s Farishte scheme, people injured in violence can get free-of-cost medical treatment at any private hospital.
Replying to a question on charges of inciting violence by AAP worker Tahir Hussain, Mr Kejriwal said, any person who is found guilty should be given stringent punishment. He said, if any Aam Aadmi Party worker is found guilty, then that person should be given double the punishment. He added that there should be no politics on the issue of national security.
