Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today received a cheque of 100 crore rupees as the interim dividend from Defence Public Sector Undertaking, Bharat Dynamics Limited, BDL in New Delhi today. Chairman and Managing Director of BDL Commodore (Retd.) Siddharth Mishra presented the cheque to Mr Singh.
The Hyderabad-based Defence Public Sector Undertaking has declared an interim dividend of six rupees 25 paise per share of 10 rupees each for the financial year 2019-20. It pertains to the Government holding in the undertaking. The interim dividend declared by the Company works out to 62.5 per cent of the paid-up share capital of over 183 crore rupees.
Secretary (Defence Production) Raj Kumar and other senior officials from the Ministry of Defence and BDL were present on the occasion.
