In the latest instance of atrocities of the ruling CPIM, a middle-aged man was brutally beaten by the CPM area secretary and group for commenting on a Facebook post. The incident took place in Karimannur of Idukki district.
Joseph Vechoor, 51, a native of Karimannur, was beaten up by CPM leaders. The attack was led by Karimannur Area Secretary PP Sumesh, where the accused used iron pipes to smash. Seriously injured Joseph has been admitted to Thodupuzha hospital.
Joseph alleged that the attackers’ aim was to kill him and that he was attacked by about twenty-five people.
