The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a SHO and two constables of Delhi Police in a bribery case of two lakh rupees.
A case was registered against the SHO of Vijay Vihar police station at Rohini in the national capital on the allegations of demanding a bribe of 5 lakh rupees from the complainant in lieu of allowing him construction of a boundary wall on his plot.
The CBI caught the constables while accepting the part payment of the bribe amount of two lakh rupees on behalf of the SHO. Searches were conducted at three residential premises of the accused in Delhi which led to recovery of incriminating documents.
The arrested accused will be produced today before the Special Judge of CBI Cases at Rouse Avenue Courts in Delhi.
