In the shocking case of body painting with minor son, Kerala’s activist Rehna Fathima today moved to High Court seeking anticipatory bail. Earlier the police had said that the actress is absconding, however, received stringent criticism soon after the ‘absconded’ appeared in a private television channel.
Police had earlier registered a case against Rehana Fathima after a video was posted by her on social media in which her children are seen painting on her naked body. According to Thiruvalla Police, a case has been filed on the basis of a complaint filed by Advocate AV Arun Prakash. The video on her Facebook feed and her YouTube channel was circulated widely.
The non-bailable offences slapped against her include charges under the Juvenile Justice Act and IT Act.
Rehana Fathima, who shot to fame for her attempt to enter Sabarimala Temple, after her dismissal from BSNL is active in social media with her naked videos. The recently shared video titled ‘Body and Politics’ featured her minor son and daughter who are seen painting on her body as she lies half-naked on the bed.
