While controversies are intensifying in Kerala on gold smuggling case, attack on Wayanadu MP Rahul Gandhi’s office etc., an incident has been reported in which a bomb was hurled at AKG Centre in the state’s capital.
The incident happened on Thursday night. The bomb was hurled in front of the gate leading to the hall of AKG Centre. CCTV footage showed that the bomb was hurled by a person who arrived on a scooter around 11.30 pm. Senior CPM leaders and a bomb detection squad have reached the spot.
The person who threw the bomb moved towards the Kunnukuzhi area after hurling the bomb. The incident took place hours before Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Wayanad.
