It has been decided to increase the security of Cliff House, the official residence of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The decision to tighten security comes in the wake of recent protests and strikes in front of the Cliff House.
The Home Department approved the decisions of the DGP on the matter. The Additional Chief Secretary sent a letter to the DGP expressing the government’s approval.
A committee of various departments will be formed under the DIG who is in charge of security. Also, a special Deputy Commissioner will be appointed for the security of the Chief Minister.
