The devastating dance of Coronavirus continues while we are still spectators watching thousands of people ending up their lives breathless! While scientists across the world are working on possible solutions, we still do not know when there would be sunshine in this darkness.
It is when the health professionals and various other faculties struggling to fight the pandemic, we hear a few odd voices making insensible claims that they have the solutions for the virus that has taken the lives of many in the planet. Unfortunately, such voices are mostly heard from India, the land of Gurus and the self-proclaimed Yogis.
They have been so or they have raised to what they are now, is by exploiting the fragile minds of people who approach them finding no solutions for the problems in their lives. Hypnotised by a mesmerising ambience in the so-called Ashrams and listening to the exaggerated stories shared by their disciples, people often fall mere preys – the case is nowhere different when the country is going through the toughest times.
Some of India’s popular ‘spiritual teachers’ claim that they have some great techniques that can improve immunity and lung capacity which is helpful resisting killer viruses. They claim that their techniques are ancient and priceless which would help the human race during the pandemic that has already taken the lives of several thousand around the world.
However, those who claim so, are never ready to share their knowledge or demonstrate the techniques visiting the affected areas. Sitting in a safe and cosy place, they are busy giving advises to those who are already infected by the deadly virus or living amidst the threat of Coronavirus.
Doctors, nurses, attendees, police and many other service sectors are putting their own lives in danger and serving the people. They don’t have any claims on their work, they don’t give lengthy lectures – in fact, they do not need this. They are just managing the situation with the best of their abilities.
During this pandemic, human life is the most important. Those who safeguard lives so are often revered as the very manifestation of God and we have nothing but gratitude for their service to humanity. Let’s not make our minds further miserable by following the ‘godly men’ or fake Gurus who make money by selling the sentiments of people.
In this deadly silence, all that we could hear is the fading breaths of people who fight for their lives in hospital beds and those screams of people who have lost their dearests and nearest. Let’s hope that we will soon wake up to a morning which is full of sunshine where we would see the world is back to its pace.
