600 employees since more than 2 months counting coins received at Sabarimala temple; may take 3 more months to complete

The employees of Sabarimala are exhausted after counting coins received in the temple during the festive season. More than 600 employees have counted for 69 consecutive days and the coins are still piled up.

Even though the notes were counted, only one-third of the coins were counted so far. If the same pace continues, it will take another two months to complete counting. Meanwhile, employees who were affected by dengue fever and chicken pox were allowed to go on leave.

The failure of employees to return to Sabarimala after special work in other temples has also affected the counting. Festivals are going on in most places in Kerala.
