India beat West Indies by 67 runs to win the third and final T20 International at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai yesterday. With this victory, India won the three-match series by 2-1.
Batting first, India made 240 for 3 in the stipulated 20 overs. K L Rahul scored 91 off 56 balls. Rohit Sharma played a power-packed innings of 71 runs, including five sixes and six boundaries. Skipper Virat Kohli gave the finishing touch to the Indian innings with a scintillating unbeaten knock of 70 runs off 29 balls. He hit seven sixes.
In reply, the West Indies managed 173 for 8 in 20 overs, with Kieron Pollard scoring 68 off 39 balls.
West Indies had defeated India by eight wickets in the second T-20 at Thiruvananthpuram on Sunday.
India beat West Indies by six wickets in the first T-20 in Hyderabad on Friday.
India and West Indies will now play three ODIs starting from Sunday.
