A 12-year-old girl from Delhi will represent India during the upcoming Panorama Interntional Literature Festival 2022. Krishti Khandelwal, one of the youngest writers from India who has authored a collection of poems and co-authored 12 books, is the youngest to participate in the reputed international event to be attended by eminent writers from across the world. Her book is also contesting in the Panorama Golden Book awards in the youth category.
A student of Sri Venkateshwar International School, Krishti Khandelwal is passionate about literature. She published her first collection of poems named ‘The Symphony of My Words” when she was 11 years and has co-authored 12 books published by some of the prominent publishing houses in the world. She also loves sketching and creating art whereas a few of her artworks have been published on blogs and websites. While she has been bestowed with The child prodigy awards, Exectis Achievement Awards, Global kids Achievers Award and Literoma Young Achiever Award, her work has also been included in the India Book of Records.
Panorama International Literature Festival conducted by Writers Capital Foundation is scheduled to be held from January 1 – 30. Due to the pandemic, the event will be held virtually this year too. The festival also features live performances and pre-recorded sessions. Apart from eminent writers from across the world, the event is attended by writers from various Indian languages too. The audience will have an opportunity to witness a number of literary festivals, including poetry recitations, speeches, discussions etc.
This year’s Panorama International Literature Festival with the theme ‘Shoonya’: The Celestial Void, aims to revive the field of metaphysical literature that has been forgotten in modern times. The festival is conducted via offline and online venues where poets from various Indian languages are participating in curated sessions led by prominent contemporary poets.
